QUALITY CITY SERVICES FOR OUR DISTRICT

My commitment to you is to ensure that the municipal services we receive are commensurate with the taxes we pay. To achieve this, we need to implement ongoing evaluation and assessment mechanisms to ensure that city services meet expectations and continually improve, as the municipal level of government often has the most significant impact on our daily lives.

For our district, this will include access to appropriate sports and recreational facilities in the western end of the city. As of right now, there is a high concentration of arenas, ice rinks, and other sports facilities in the eastern end. I've heard time and time again at the doors that the western part of the city does not receive its fair share of investment in ice rinks, swimming pools, sports centres and arenas. Therefore, I am committed to advocating that city facilities, from now on, be planned in a way that is equitable for all our residents, especially to develop our infrastructure in line with the city's growth and alleviate traffic issues. I want to live in a city where families can be active in their community.
