    Contribution Rules

    In accordance with Article 431 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities, the maximum donation amount is $100 annually + an additional $100 in an election year.

    To contribute to an authorized political entity, you must be eligible to vote according to Article 47 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities. You must make the payment yourself in accordance with all legal requirements (Articles 429, 430, 434 and 436, as well as Articles 499.7 and 499.8 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities concerning a party leadership campaign).

    • My contribution complies with the provisions of articles 47, 429, 430, 434 and 436 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities, and my contribution:
      • Comprises funds coming from my own assets;
      • Is made voluntarily;
      • Is made without compensation or consideration, and;
      • Has not been and will not be subject to any reimbursement.
    • I am an eligible elector in accordance with Article 47 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities, and;
