    My vision for Gatineau

    I believe every citizen deserves quality services from their municipal government and should expect responsible management of city resources from their elected officials. Every dollar spent must serve to improve the quality of life of our citizens, without increasing our tax burden. I advocate rigorous management of resources, so that everyone can benefit from efficient and accessible municipal services.

  • Meet your candidate

    My name is Mark Buzan and I'm running for city council in our ward of Mitigomijokan. As a resident of the northern sector of our ward, where the Plateau meets eastern Aylmer, I experience the realities of our community every day: heavy traffic, roads in poor condition, lack of sidewalks and bus service.

    With more than 25 years in Gatineau, seven of them in the Plateau, I'm a member of the board of directors of the Plateau Residents' Association and have contributed to numerous community projects. My professional experience working with small municipalities and as an entrepreneur gives me a good understanding of the challenges facing our neighbourhoods.

    I want to put my experience and passion at the service of our community to find concrete solutions to our daily challenges.
