  • I'm Mark Buzan

    I'm running to be your next City Councillor in our district of Mitigomijokan.

    Having lived in Gatineau for over 25 years, and in our district for the last 7 years, I'm committed to finding solutions to the challenges that our community faces every day: heavy traffic, poorly-maintained roads and lack of sidewalks, inadequate public transit, and a lack of commercial and recreational infrastructure.

    Having previously served on the board of directors of the Plateau Residents' Association, contributed to community projects, and gained experience working with small municipalities and as an entrepreneur, I want to utilize my knowledge and passion to serve our community and create a better place for us to live.

    Working together, we can build a city where its services work for its residents, and civic engagement and transparency are at the forefront of our government's values and actions.

    My Vision for Our City

    As your next city councillor, my focus will always be on you, my constituents and neighbours. I want to be your voice at Gatineau City Hall and help bring solutions to issues that our community is facing.

    I believe that everyone deserves to receive quality services from our city's government and should expect responsible management of its resources from their elected officials; every tax dollar must go towards improving our quality of life without increasing our tax burden. I will be an advocate for the rigorous management of city resources so that everyone benefits from efficient and accessible municipal services.
